The First Time I Saw Spirit

This was a very interesting experience for me personally and in hindsight, quite funny.

I was about 28 years old ( I am 41 now ) and had been communicating and sensing spirit for some years.  I “saw” them with my minds eye and was able to give descriptions that people could identify, but I hadn’t actually seen a spirit with my own eyes.  I had been teaching spiritual development for about 6 months.  I was in constant contact with my guides.

With all this happening in my life, I felt I was not only ready to see a spirit, but that I was overdue the experience.  So, over a few communications with my guides, I asked to see a spirit.

Looking back, I was very naïve.  I learnt the true meaning of “Be careful what you ask for”.

I was propped up lying in bed and it was late in the evening, I had been watching the television at the end of my bed.  The television was now off.

I was focused on some things that I had to do in the coming weeks, so I was kind of staring into space in front of me but not actually looking at anything in particular.

It was then that I noticed something coming up through the middle of the bed about where my legs were.  It was the head of a man and it slowly turned and faced me.  He had dark curly hair and kind of reminded me of the actor Tom Baker who played Dr Who. ( He reminded me of the actor, not the character he played )

Please excuse my language, but I shit myself.  I pulled the covers over my head and my heart was racing.  I lowered the covers and it was still there.  I pulled them back up and asked it to go away.  Next time I looked it was gone.  I slept with all the lights on for three nights after that.

It is funny when I look back, but at the time, I was scared shitless.

It was roughly ten years before I felt I was truly ready enough to ask again which resulted in the next experience “The first time I had physical contact with another being.”
